A thermal insulation miracle called Primaloft

We have extended our new winter models with Primaloft material. Its secret lies in the technology inspired by nature - namely goose feathers. Primaloft uses ultra-fine polyester microfibers that are woven into a dense mesh with countless tiny air chambers. They not only capture body heat but, at the same, time allow air circulation, thus protecting against the cold from outside and preventing the leg from overheating.

Primaloft is very light and saves volume. It cannot be seen, which is why customers often mistakenly think that the material cannot be as warm as, for example, merino. Primaloft has exceptional thermal insulation properties. Even when it gets wet. This means that your feet will stay warm even if the shoes come into contact with moisture, rain or if your feet sweat during physical activity. 

Don't worry, they don't overheat

Unlike conventional insulating materials, Primaloft ensures that even when the temperatures rise, the feet do not overheat, as the breathable structure allows the excess heat to be efficiently dissipated. If you happen to feel the moisture in your shoes, it is most often due to accumulated sweat. We recommend removing the insoles after each use and letting the shoes and insoles dry thoroughly at room temperature. This simple step will ensure your shoes are ready for your next step in comfort and dryness. 

Our new winter models are designed to cope with winter conditions down to -30°C, but also with normal, warmer days, while ensuring an optimal thermal balance. High-quality socks made of cotton or bamboo further support the removal of moisture and increase thermal comfort.
